Mister Opens in Yaletown

Just in time for summer, Mister has opened a liquid nitrogen-churned artisanal ice cream parlour in the heart of Yaletown. The ice cream is made fresh to order, in-house from scratch, using pure, all-natural ingredients. Liquid nitrogen freezes ingredients rapidly, while stand mixers churn, turning the flavour mixtures into ice cream in less than one minute before customers’ eyes. The fast freezing, and freshness of the ice cream results in a denser, smoother and creamier scoop.

The parlour is situated on the elevated loading dock of a 1912 warehouse loft conversion. Celebrating both the history of the building and the ice cream-making process, the space features concrete slab flooring, whitewash brickwork, galvanized steel, a large soapstone counter, moulded leather stools and a bank of Douglas fir cabinets. The clean design and use of high-caliber materials is in keeping with Mister’s approach to ice cream- pure and premium ingredients coming together to create high-quality product.

Story secured 30+ stories in a 6-week period leading up to and following the opening of the parlour, including placements in Scout Magazine, Daily Hive, NUVO Magazine, Gray Magazine, Montecristo, Vitamin Daily, CKNW, Westender, Metro, Vancouver Courier and more.
